Spring
Spring is a time for new birth, with the promise that life will renew itself. Trees may stay dormant all winter long; animals may hibernate under the ground or in a hollow tree, because of the peace and quiet that winter often brings. Spring awakens nature with the promise of warmer days and sunshine. Once the weather shifts and the warmth continues to sip into mother earth, we hear the noise return, as well as seeing life renew itself with fresh buds waiting to bring color back into our world. The birds which flew south for the winter to out run the cold brutal weather, now return with their happy chirping to make their nests out of the dead vegetation that has laid hidden beneath the snow and ice. Animals come out of their hibernation once more to chatter happily upon the warmth of the ground. They search for the uncovered food once more, and chat with others that came to explore; they are twitter patted and happy that once more spring has arrived.
The trees and bushes bring forth new buds that someday soon will turn into leaves, which later on will bring forth flowers of all different sizes, shapes, and colors. The smell of fresh green grass and soft wet rains blow on the breezes that stretch across the land.
Humans start to shed their coats and heavy clothing for the warmer weather. We venture outside once more to enjoy the sounds, smells, and sights of a brand new world. We enjoy the sun that will let our children play outside or at the park instead of being under foot and cranky with not enough space to run and play. We do major cleaning, and start our gardens, we spend wonderful monents with family and friends. Spring renews our energy and restores our strength for all it has to offer throughout the months ahead.
Spring is a wonderful time of year, a time for beauty and good cheer. A time to laugh and run, a time to enjoy and play, that is what spring is all about renewing life in so many ways.

A neat hub! I assume the paintings are your own work (from one of your comments) - they are beautiful. I like the idea (I wrote a hub about spring time some time ago) and perhaps this spring I'll paint a couple of pictures to post on the hub. Thanks for the hub!
